A Star Quilt for Isla

My mom pieced the top of this quilt for my little Isla. That was before she was born. She just turned 18 months so I thought it was time to finish it!

I chose a banana print from 5 Funky Monkeys to as backing. I really love the playfulness of it and it suits her well.

My mom always makes star quilts for those she loves, this is a beautiful one!

Quiet Book finished!

I finally finished a quiet book for our upcoming vacation. I didn't use a pattern and just added things I thought my little son Antonio would enjoy. If you click on the pictures more details about the pages can be found on the flickr link.
