Biye' Quilt

This is my newest work Biye' quilt. The Navajo to English translation is "his son." This is a quilt for an old friend who is expecting her first child.

The quilt is backed with a soft and cuddly minky which will keep the baby warm during the winter season.

Marcelle Update

I decided to add borders to the top and bottom of my Marcelle Medallion Quilt. Here is the first row!

Equilateral Triangle Quilt

I finished the Equilateral Triangle Quilt I started at Sewing Summit in September. I think it is so beautiful just like the little one I made it for. She loves it of course!

I'm going to add additional borders to the top and bottom to make it a longer lap quilt.

I won a swatch pack of tula pink's new Acacia fabric line this week and i used the 2.5" squares to make a pouch and also the beginnings of a pillow!

I might wait for the fabric release to finish this pillow so i can add more Acacia to it.

Modernista Swap

I am part of the modernista swap on flickr and this round was themed for the bedroom. My partner asked for a large bed pillow and a mini quilt suitable for framing. I hope she likes it!
