Easy Zip Pouch

I printed my own fabric sheet using images from Heather Ross' PRINTS book. The images printed incredibly detailed and I am so happy with it. Of course I heat set the inks with my iron before sewing.

Heather Ross Mini Quilt

Here is my finished Heather Ross mini quilt made for a friend on twitter. She loves Heather Ross and I love Tula Pink so we both decided to make something for each other. I used just about every print I had on this project and I hope she likes it!



The block is a pattern from the book Modern Patchwork by Elizabeth Hartman. If you don't already own it, please consider buying it. Everything in the book is so beautiful and I have to say this block was so easy.

  



 And of course I had to make a custom quilt tag for the occasion... using printable images from the dvd that came with Heather Ross' PRINTS book. SO MUCH FUN! I made my own fabric sheets using freezer paper and ran them through my color ink jet and set with high heat. My Epson printer uses pigmented inks which make it ideal for printing on fabric. (be sure to check with your printer/ink manufacturer)

Mug Rug Swap Complete

Here is my completed mug rug for the current swap on Flickr... I really hope my partner likes it. I thought this was a green fabric I used for the background but someone remarked what a nice aqua it was... which is a color my partner dislikes. UGH! I really hope she likes it despite this error!


I really love the back of the mug rug even more, as I love this grey linen Heather Ross print! oxoxo!

Heather Ross love...

Don't you absolutely adore Heather Ross prints? I just bought this cute print with little VWs on them. I wish I had discovered her years ago when more of these fabrics could be found... Still awaiting my fabric bundles from her recent studio sale!!! Can't wait!
