#ssswap gift arrived!!!
I was a part of the twitter #ssswap this past December. The idea was that we would make a wish list and our secret partner would purchase or make something on that list for us, so long as it was under $15. This is the swap gift I received from Julie of Intrepid Thread, have a look at her blog!

ID Tag
I wanted to make an address/ID tag for my bag before I left on Christmas break. I asked my friend if I could digitize his artwork and put it on the tag. I think it turned out very nice. The design is really dense and had 47 color changes. I absolutely love it!

New Dress!!!
I bought this cotton voile a couple of months ago off Etsy. It's in one of my favorite prints. It is so soft and smooth and I decided to make a dress. The pattern is a new favorite, Simplicity 2586. I made the dress length then added another band of fabric to the bottom since I thought it might be a little short on me. I'm glad I added the 4 inches. The print is called Diamond Chevron by Denyse Schmidt.

Sew Happy Geek Table Runner/Wall Hanging Swap Completed!
This is the wall hanging I made for my partner Shannon for the swap. She likes bright colors and there was a picture of a similar wall hanging from Purl Soho in her favorites so I decided to make it for her using solids.
Here is a close up of the swirly quilting I did.
